10 Highlights in Bangkok

I wrote this on the flight back to Taipei from Bangkok. I didn't get used so be alone in the begining @ Bangkok. But it is not hard to find the temp to travel alone. Soon I find the peace in mind, I was happy and relaxed.

No 1 may long life king. Huge King and Queen's photos display everywbere.
No 2 mean taxi driver.
I was kicked out of taxi in nowhere, when i said no to driver's offer: 500 bht to a fabric factory.
No 3 shopping, shopping, and more shopping.
No 4 eating: spicy and flesh Thai food
No 5 temples,flowers, and budda
No 6 relaxing and cheap message
No 7 hot hot hot, the weather is too hot, you get live without cold drink
No 8 creative and colorful design. I love pink taxi!
No 9 chinese influence on Thai culture. a chinse music channel cool!
No 10 Brilliant Night life. great night view. and shake your body on RCA road!

曼谷跨年夜

在曼谷度過了穿著短T的的跨年夜

八點半,逛完百貨公司出來,發現完蛋了,困在知名的world center倒數廣場中,
路都封起來了,對於壅擠人潮中跨年還要忍受散場噩夢,敬謝不敏
結果光從廣場逃出來搭上計程車,就花了一個小時
逃出廣場後,本來想回飯店後在去參加CS party
擔心路上塞車,想說直達pub,無奈司機找不到地方
回到考山路,10點多,跑去了腳底按摩
按完摩,還有10幾分鐘就跨年,走進了一家pub點了一瓶泰國啤酒準備倒數,
帥老闆開始發拉砲,然後邀請我一起到店門口倒數
於是我跟老闆和他的朋友們一起跨年拉砲慶祝,看著附近的煙火

本來覺得一個人跨年好像很可憐,但上帝總是派來天使給我
在雪梨的跨年我巧遇飯店兩位同事
在曼谷的跨年,他則派來一群友善的新朋友給我,一起倒數
喝了半瓶啤酒已經微醺,走出pub回到考山路,才發現外面才是狂歡的大本營
整條考山路上充滿外國人,音樂震耳欲聾,大家盡情喝酒,在街上跳舞,甚至站在桌椅上
看著身邊的各色人種,我有身在聯合國的感覺,超有跨年的狂歡feel

炎夏遊曼谷

*曼谷的巨大的黃金臥佛

在曼谷轉機好多次,始終沒有出機場去探索一下這個在旅遊排行榜上高居不下的熱門城市
於是選了曼谷,做為生日和辛苦工作的犒賞。事實證明,曼谷的確是個名符其實的旅遊城市:又酸又辣的泰國美食,紓壓的泰式按摩,有驚人夜景的Sky Bar,春光無限的Pattaya沙灘,時尚的精品旅館,便宜又好逛的設計小店,微笑的臥佛,帶點慵懶的泰國人...讓曼谷成為一個讓人一再造訪的迷人城市。

雖是雨季,這次四天的旅遊，一直到到曼谷機場搭機回台北的路上,才下起了滂沱大雨。短短的四天,並不足以讓我好好地探索完曼谷這個東方米蘭，憑著台灣地利之便,我想不久的將來...我會再次造訪曼谷~
